Our five focus areas
Norstat continues the journey to enhance our work with sustainability and to optimize our value creation. We have identified our key sustainable impact areas through communications and validations from several stakeholder groups. Through these areas, we are able to focus our efforts towards where the potential impacts are greatest. The following four overarching pillars are identified as the foundation to our sustainable value creation:

Adhering to the UN Sustainability Goals is crucial to bettring our company and society. Here are the areas where we have the greatest impact, and what we concretely do in order to reach a more sustainable future.

We ensure an inclusive work environment with equal conditions for all, and that everyone has the same opportunity to develop and succeed. We also monitor for differences in work satisfaction and check for any perceived discrimination or different treatment. Lastly, representation of both genders are fundamental in our recruitment processes.

Climate action

When incentivizing our panel members for participation in studies, we offer and promote redemption options that have positive impact on our climate. To date, more than 160 000 trees have been planted by our panel members in important reforestation projects around the world

Using fair and transparent data collection methods, we provide quality data and insights that enables companies and institutions to analyze trends, behaviors, and opinions. These actionable insights enhance our customers understanding of behaviors that are changing at a fast pace.
By using a mix of both online and offline methods, we can access groups in society otherwise hard-to-reach, ensuring a wide reach and representative sample of the population. In doing so, we empower people to voice their opinions on issues that concern them. Our partnerships with key media outlets further present a powerful venue for changes in opinions, behaviours, and attitudes to reach the relevant decision-makers in both public and private institutions.
Our belief that an enlightened society makes the world better is the foundation of our operations. In doing so, we are aligning our work with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal 16: to promote peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, provide access to justice for all and build effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels.
